So, I realize i haven't done a post in the last couple of days, that is down to the simple fact that i haven't been near a computer in the last couple of days and haven't been wearing anything exciting.
Today was meant to be a shopping day for holiday clothes as i am going to tenerife on friday with my best friend and her family, uberrr excited for that! But it is rainy and miserable today so decided to try and fit it in sometime tomorrow!
Results day thursday! ARRGGGHHHHHHHH @:~?;/;#'['/.;L@@';@:'##!!!
Anyway, back to fashion, i decided to make my own shorts yesterday, i've been meaning to do this for a while now but only just got round to it, i realize there are many shorts exactly the same but i thought why pay for them when i can do them for free? So i got a pair of my dads Levi jeans (he has about ten pairs of the same jeans, oh and he is quite small as you may be wondering how i can fit in his jeans!) and me and my mum cut them to the length i wanted and washed and dried them and they frayed nicely.
As for my necklaces, i bought the cross pendant from a gothic/hippy shop in whitby for £14 as it is real silver and i bought the string/rope thing separately, my other necklace (the shorter one) is from a little shop in newquay called razzmatazz (not sure on the spelling) which i LOVE! I think i am going to do a separate post soonish all on this one necklace, but basically, the metal is like a shell and it opens at the top and it comes with all different colour stones that match the shape of the pendant which you can swap around to match any outfit, also it came with a braclet which you can attach it to but i preferred it as a necklace so i bought the string separately.
My top is from zara, i bought this a while ago so i doubt it is shops now. I liked it because of the panelling on the sides which make it different from the normal vest.
And now for the main thing, the cardigan, you cant really see it on these pictures but i am pretty sure you will end up seeing this ALOT as i wear it all the time, i just love it, it is so warm and cosy, i bought is from a vintage store in york called DEEP (i think there is one in middlesborough too) the clothes are so cheap and so lovely, i got this thick cardigan for only £11, so it is definitely worth a look. Not all the clothes are vintage as they have to keep up with the ever changing fashions so some stuff is made by them, but i definitely recommend it!
WOW, this was a long post, well done if you managed to read it all!
Happy Blogging,
Madame Melissa.
